“Every work of art is a child of its age and, in many cases, the mother of our emotions.
It follows that each period of culture produces an art of its own which can never be repeated”.

– V. Kandinsky, Concerning the Spiritual in Art

In uncertain times, the boundaries of every work of art blur in the fusion of languages and disciplines. Never has it been more difficult to identify the motivations and qualities of visual research. In the face of these permeable categories that go beyond technique it is inevitable that we ask ourselves “what is this? Painting, film, video art, sculpture, photography?” This question encapsulates the essence of our contemporaneity and the intelligence of new visual experiments that are leading the work of art to challenge the age, to transcend current taste, to achieve that strength of synthesis that will make it necessary to knowledge.

The Casa del Diospero, a place of open debate, intends to develop a programme that combines the voices of artists, architects, photographers and filmmakers to launch a discussion on  current issues.
